The Mac version of Safari is meliorate than the Windows version simply information technology'due south all the same a bad browser.

How strange so many things changed in Safari 4's GUI between the last beta and this final version...! Strange indeed that "they" abased the tab bar in the upper portion of the interface, and that "they" also reversed class as to the progress bar, non back to the blue tide (yet?), but not exactly as banal and non-informative equally the simple spinning grayness wheel either.

Aside from that, Safari 4 on my MBP running Tiger with all the bells and whistles is very fast at rendering spider web pages, quick to offset up too, and rendering is so far flawless. I still deplore the fact that its interface can't be more easily customized, only in terms of speed and stability, information technology's a good application. Don't know yet if I'chiliad gear up to ditch Opera every bit default browser, though...

Sad to rain on your parade, guys, but I just installed it, just to uninstall it immediately, because information technology but wouldn't beginning (Safari had to quit, would yous like to send a report to Apple tree? By all means, Steve...).

Got back to Saf4 Dev Preview, which works just fine, cheers...

Opera'south CSS and standards support in general is very impressive in my opinion.

Safari is a very good browser for CSS support, second simply to Mozilla-based browsers. IE actually has pretty poor CSS back up. Mozilla/Opera/Safari are much better.

Sorry, non a review but a question... How does it handle CSS's (cascading style sheets)? 1 of the biggest problems for all the non Microsoft browsers is they don't deal with CSS's very well.

I was using Safari since the earliest beta. Well done Apple, very impressive! Respect to Mozilla, just they are lucky that Safari runs only on Mac.

Just because you don't apply Mac, doesn't mean you lot have to human activity like a retard. I have used Safari, and have to say that I idea it was a pretty solid plan.

Spam Inspector don't work on user accounts with access rights of "regular user" (Bone Windows 2000 Pro). No trouble with admin privileges but using accounts for internet access with such high privileges isn't acceptable for me.
